My name is Mike Rodgers and I create various items from leather. These works range from naturally colored leather to intricately colored items. I use spirit dyes, acrylic paint or a combination of both spirit and acrylic colors depending on what works best for the particular item. Sometimes a simple antique will suffice. You can view many of these items via the labels above.
I have received lessons or taken classes from the likes of Robb Barr, Robert Beard, Peter Main, Bill Gomer, Chuck Smith, George Hurst, Silva Fox and many others. If any of these artworks is pleasing to you it is in no small part due to the patience and instructions I have received from these fine folks.
Most of these works have been sold or made as gifts.
